The first open mic night with session artistes will take place in the lounge at The Old Inn on Friday 22nd October.

A nice intimate and confortable setting in the lounge area through the back of the pub.

Featured artistes already confirmed are Eck Moore with Shameless, Fraser MacIntyre, with Wink and Albo, Misha Sutherland and more offering a few tunes, this event will run from 8pm until midnight and the session artistes will play from

around half an hour up to about an hour, this leaves plenty time for any guest musicians and singers to perform a few songs as well.
All singers and musicians of all styles are welcome to come along and perform.

The new Skids DVD will have its premiere showing in Dunfermline at the Carnegie Hall on Sunday 31st October.

Richard Jobson and special guests will host the event in aid of the charity Help For Heroes, a charity and subject very dear to Richard Jobson and a subject which reflects a lot in the lyrics of Skids songs.

Live music and prizes will be on offer during the official launch and release of the new DVD, produced and directed by Richard.

Sunday 31st October will see the premiere showing of the new DVD at the prestigious Carnegie Hall.
The DVD will go on sale officially at this event which will include live music performances as well as the first showing of the DVD on the big screen.

Shed Seven were recently announced to play a special Christmas Fife Fest gig at the Glen Pavilion in Dunfermline.
Sharing the stage and also “going for gold” are The Law, Proud Mary, Modern Faces and Chris Helme.

Tickets priced at £22.50 are on sale now from Ticketmaster and local outlets include, 3rd Base Records (Dunfermline), Manifesto (Dunfermline and Ripping Records (Edinburgh)

The show starts at 5pm with more details and aftershow party still to be announced.
