Ok so whats all the fuss about then?
Slurpy Gloop …who the hell are they? I haven’t seen them in PJs before…
The Slurpy Gloop story goes back to the 1980′s.
A spark from the still burning embers of The Skids, Trax and The (Dick Emery) Family On Holiday.
Most people in the era of my youth would certainly remember the name, its one that you dont foget that easily, and the band are no strangers to controversy which reflects in their own personal journeys, their music and their subsequent arrest after playing a gig on the roof of the old “Shafies” building in Chapel Street in the late 80′s.
After traffic grounded to a halt it wasnt long before the police arrived and sorted the scallywags out and restored this part of Dunfermline to normality.
The Slurpy Gloop guys certainly havent lost their attitude and hunger for their music or their non-undulgent air of secrecy. So after over 20 years of public silence they are set to unleash their own unique brand of avant-garde electronica at Wellwood on Saturday 19th June 2010

Prepare to free your mind as new 2010 remixes are delivered via a “new look” Slurpy Gloop style, a trip down memory lane for some as they revisit a whacky chapter of their youth and just a musical trip for anyone joining the Slurpy Gloop musical escapades for the first time.
Joining the same bill are Bruce and Jamie Watson, freshened up after their performance at The Isle Of Wight Festival and recent gigs down south of the border.
Tickets are on sale from Kennys Music and Third Base Records, or pay at the door.
Priced at £4 adv tickets and £5 door entry
